This is an update note with everything that is available in Dracards.

1. Multiwallet Connection

From now on Dracards will connect with most of the wallets available on the Cardano network.

Several changes were needed because when we first implemented Daap with Nami Wallet, we did not structure it in a way that made it easy to implement new wallets. Now, we have changed our code so that adding a new wallet is more of a business decision than a complex upgrade and technology tweak.

2. Desmint

It is now possible to burn a card that has been transformed into NFT, this is what we call Desmint.

With the desmint you burn your NFT and have your card back in the collection with the status of not NFT, this will allow you to give reinforcement to this card and put it on the internal market to be sold when it becomes available (we are in the final stages of development). It will also allow for a future trade market. The flow is quite simple. A burn request is sent to us with the card, it arrives in our portfolio and the burn is executed, your card returns with the status of NFT in your collection. This all happens automatically and you just need to sign with your wallet that the card has been sent to us.

3. New Collection: Necropolis Ascension

A new collection arrives for all Dracards fans, and along with it we bring the second phase mechanics of the game that is currently in development.

The cards of the first collection, Midnight Awakening were all creatures, with introductory gameplay. The cards of the second collection bring new types such as special creatures and extra functionality.

Learn about the types of Dracards:

1 — Creature

2 — Relic

3 — Artifact

4 — Sorcery

More details about the new types and gameplay will be detailed soon, as this alone deserves an exclusive publication. And to see the complete collection, click here

4. Improvements of UI / UX

  • New filters and inclusion of advanced filters improving the search for cards separated by type, rarity, collection, etc.
  • Context Menu. Now depending on the screen a specific menu for that screen will appear, giving more space to the main items, and bringing more dynamism to the screen in question.
  • Indicates when you have no booster purchased.
  • New dynamic background
  • Security Improvements.

What’s next?

We are working hard to soon bring new features to the Dracards community. Some are very expected and requested as the internal market for FIRE, the card exchange, and the long awaited staking of buildings. These will probably be the next major implementations before the first release of the game, until then, we will establish a transparent communication with the community bringing information about its development.
