Greetings Markevians,

First of all I want to talk about the challenge it has been to bring value updates with great frequency. We understand that the last update was huge, we brought several features that the community accepted very well, such as the mint of cards at incredibly low prices, reforge where it was possible to join two or more cards to transform into a stronger one, among other important points for the Dracards community, and repeating that is a great challenge that we are once again about to accomplish. There are several work fronts in parallel, and I will give you a status on each one here.

Today there are 5 work fronts at Dracards happening in parallel, the first of which is finally the implementation of multiple wallets in addition to the Nami Wallet, another is the staking and rental of buildings, we are also preparing to resume the sale of buildings, remembering that the hashpower potential available on cards is much greater than the existing buildings on the market today can support for staking. In addition to the game itself, which has been our main objective at the moment.

Let’s get into the details for each work front.

Multi-wallet support

We had a small problem in our validations because when the nodes were updated, preparing the network to receive Vasil, the testnet ended up being destabilized for a period, but it has already been resolved and we are in final tests. All supported wallets will be detailed in the release of this update.

Staking in Buildings

The mechanics are now complete and we are performing integration and validation tests mainly to ensure that the person who will receive the gains during the staking period is the person who holds the NFT at the time of claim. We have a few weeks of work ahead of us, but everything has been going well.

Buildings rental

As I previously informed at the time of the launch of the rental of buildings, there will be a disproportion between the number of cards and the number of buildings, we have much more cards than buildings to allocate cards in the hands of players and investors, for this reason we will only carry out one or another sale of buildings, from territories that were already fully prepared for launch. As there is no forecast for a new region on the Draconia map, then the owners of the buildings will have a great economic advantage We may eventually find a way to announce the hashpower numbers on building cards so people can know the best time to buy a building or not.

New Season Collection — Necropolis Ascention

All 50 artworks were finished and reviewed by the art department, it took over 700 hours of artwork to bring the new Dracards characters to life. This is our first 100% authorial collection, which gives us an incredible sense of pride. It was a great dedication from our illustrator artist Felipe Ivanski, where he put all his talent at the service of the Dracards community, and I can’t wait to show everyone how amazing this work turned out!

The game!

As you saw we had a change in the game’s delivery date and I’ll explain the reasons: Initially we modeled the game (Model which we based ourselves on to create the demo video https://youtu.be/OdJThfX2fD0), to run 100% in html, this gave us a loading advantage making the game much lighter and faster greater in the development, but at a given moment, seeing the expectations of the players and investors were increasing, we started to think of a way to deliver something even better, since the initial approach, in addition to bringing numerous advantages, had a major disadvantage: It would not allow us to explore graphically the game with impactful and incredible visual effects.

We then started to develop the game in Unity, despite being a more expensive choice, in terms of time and knowledge, we prefer to continue, aiming at the broad resources and wider possibilities that the platform offers. This turned out to be a mistake as our development became significantly more complex.

Upon identifying that we were making a mistake by changing the initial approach, we got together and went back a few steps in the game’s development, and then set a new release date.

Many of you have noticed the PVE priority change. In the crypto environment, PVE is basically used as a way to earn more game tokens, and understanding that we are already providing good ways to do this, in addition to the fact that the economic scenario does not make this more attractive, we left PVE aside (for while) and we are focusing on the development of the game itself.

We want in a next update, which still doesn’t have a date set but should happen in the next 30 days, to bring numerous features.

Dracards is one of the first projects in the Cardano network, and we’ve been working hard since when we barely had the tools to do so, and now that the network is going through its best moment since its creation, we’re ready to make the most of this potential! Wait for all our news, this journey will be amazing!
